LET'S TALK LATIN AMERICAN SPANISH

Course #2

The second course builds on the first course: the aim is to enable students to express themselves in a more sophisticated way, addressing a variety of situations.
The emphasis remains on the practical, not academics but there is naturally a greater attention to grammar.
Brainstorming, games and authentic materials are amongst the tools used.

An example is the lesson on the topic of conservation where students practice describing actions in the past, using the past tense .

Las Heliconias, Upala

They are asked to produce examples of past actions, and to exchange ideas using the past tense. Reading comprehension is another component of the lesson. Students will write their own short compositions on conservation topics.
There are two sections B and C that help the student to practice more intensively the expressions from section Vamos a Conversar.
