Why Costa Rica?

You will find that we currently offer Costa Rica as our destination. We consider Costa Rica, a country famed for its natural beauty with growing popularity as a destination to be the best base from which you can visit Central America. Thanks in part to its natural beauty; tourism has developed into a principal industry though one which can endanger the very nature if not managed properly. It is also a country with much poverty in its rural areas where 1 in 5 is estimated to live in poverty. Responsible travel and volunteering contributes both directly and indirectly to the welfare of local communities by supporting locally owned enterprises and sustainable development.

Via volunteer travel and ecotourism along with other related products we hope to help communities, small sustainable enterprises and conservation projects become viable means of long term employment.

Eco-Cooperative La Catarata (Arenal)

Our Fair Trade Concept...
Our Fair Trade concept is our commitments to you, to provide full transparency whilst keeping in mind your comfort and needs as a responsible consumer. Money spent by visitors and volunteers should find its way directly to projects and the local inhabitants living where ecotourism projects are located- without being deducted unnecessarily by companies which overcharge volunteers and travelers.
